Historic • Quiet • Mississippi River
Right on the Mississippi River stands the affluent historical neighborhood named after the author of "The Last of the Mohicans." While Cooper gets high marks for its cleanliness and the overall open and pleasant scene, it lacks a bit in diversity. Composed of mostly families, the nightlife is a bit scarce, but there are a host of parks and waterside gathering areas throughout the town along with high-quality restaurants and cafes worth a visit.
