This sleek neighborhood was actually reclaimed from the ocean, with about 30 percent of its land created in the late 1990s. While transportation to other parts of Kowloon is spotty, there's a ferry to Hong Kong Island—and you may want to stay put, given the presence of the (still in-progress) Cultural District, which puts theaters and other entertainment in your lap.
