Use Hung Hom as your starting point for international train rides. As the central hub of transportation in Hong Kong, Hung Hom is buzzing with traffic from early morning until late at night. Easily move back and forth from Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai, among other mainland destinations or side trips. Grab a snack and a newspaper at an indoor cafe or stroll along the brick-and-cyan Hung Hom promenade, but bring a jacket for times when a chill wind blows over the choppy water. A fun excursion is the super-yacht Whampoa with its 300 shops.
